Bluechip IT was established in 1995 and previously known as Servex Australia. Bluechip IT is an Australian company with investment from both local management and the Acer Group, Taiwan. This local ownership gives Bluechip IT the advantage of being able to make quick decisions both for general business and marketing strategies, while still enjoying the comfortable financial backing of a large multinational group.
In July 2003 Bluechip IT merged with another leading Australian distributor "BBF Components and Peripherals", the combined resources resulting in the creation of one of the largest distributors in Australia.
With a head office based at Silverwater in Western Sydney and branch offices in Queensland, Victoria and Perth, Bluechip IT have steadily expanded their operations to provide better facilities for the distribution of products, as well as increasing the size and reliability of their service divisions, maintaining a service commitment that is second to none.
